Nude TV contestant charged for violence

A Swedish TV show contestant was charged with violently resisting arrest on Monday after he had caused trouble while naked at a hotel room when the day's filming was complete.

The man, from Skåne, southern Sweden, is reported to have undressed when he returned to his hotel in central Stockholm, and then asked fellow TV contestants to spank his naked body, as he had been a “naughty boy”, according to the Skånskan newspaper.

Meanwhile, the man whipped himself with a belt.

No one complied with the man’s requests for whipping assistance, and the production team was forced to call the police, who arrived at the hotel to find the man locked in his room. The man would not oblige when police requested that he open the door.

After using the hotel’s master key to force entry into the room, police found the man lying naked on his bed with all the lights turned on.

After acting strangely, the police handcuffed the man, who then began to lurch and kick wildly, resisting arrest violently.

The police were forced to use pepper spray to get control over the man.

While the alleged incident occurred in March last year, it wasn’t until Monday that the man was formally charged.

He denies the allegations.
