Filmmakers living among these dregs of society fed their creativity on this dissolute scene and formed a movement called “The Cinema of Transgression.” See their “analyses of life in the Lower East Side defined by criminality, brutality, drugs, AIDS, sex, and excess” at KW starting Saturday.
