He was finally found, outside Tanumshede in Bohuslän, in southwestern Sweden, around 5pm on Saturday, according to local newspaper Bohusläningen.

At around 3am the night before, local police had tried to stop a car with three people in it.

However, the driver refused to stop, and the car drove on at full speed. Soon thereafter it was found in a ditch, but one person was missing.

The two people remaining in the car were arrested on suspicion of drug charges.

Around 1pm on Saturday the 18 year-old finally called emergency services SOS Alarm, pleading for help, and told them that he was lying in the woods severely injured.

Unfortunately he didn't know where he was, and as telephone contact with him was broken soon thereafter, it took several hours for rescue services to find him.

The 18 year-old has now been taken to the hospital in Näl. According to local newspapers, he was badly affected by the hours spent in the woods in poor weather, with rain and storms.
