Woman charged over Stockholm murder

A woman has been charged in connection with the murder of a man in his fifties in central Stockholm in the beginning of November, according to the Aftonbladet daily.

The man's body was found on November 5th by a private individual bloodied near Skanstull in the Södermalm area of central Stockholm.

The woman has previously been questioned by police and has now been remanded on probably cause of murder. She will undergo further interviews during Tuesday.

The body of the man, who was originally reported to be 49-years-old, was found at the corner of Rutger Fuchsgatan and Bohusgatan. He was not previously known to police.

Police issued a call for witnesses to the events and stated a particular interest in the man's movements in the early hours of Friday November 5th.

"We have a gap between 1am at night and 7am in the morning when he was found and we are very interested in what people may have seen at this location during that time," said chief investigator Conny Dahl at the time.
