Lady Gaga kicks off the European leg of her Monster Ball tour in Stockholm at the Ericsson Globe on Friday. Concert organizers earlier added an additional show on Saturday, then announced on Tuesday that that they would release additional tickets for both the nearly sold out shows.

"The concerts are about 95 percent sold," Carolina Setterwall, of promoter Live Nation, told The Local. "There are always a few tickets left. The C balcony is very high up, near the roof, with a limited view. Sometimes the artist and production company don't release tickets, but we decided to for these shows."

At 335 kronor ($45) excluding service charges, the tickets are about third of the price of the most expensive ones at 925 kronor, but fans will have a restricted view. Single seats remain in the other sections, Setterwall told The Local.

Live Nation has sold most of the tickets for this show online, she said.

"The fans are younger than the ones for Tina Turner," Setterwall told The Local. "They buy more online."

Lady Gaga will return to Sweden on the second European leg of the tour on November 19th at the Malmö Arena. Aftonbladet reported on Tuesday that Lady Gaga's show entourage has booked Malmö Arena throughout this week and set up the whole concert production.

Setterwall declined to comment on whether Lady Gaga has arrived already in Sweden nor whether she is rehearsing in Malmö.

"They do a run-through before the premiere to make sure that everything works," was all she would say.

Lady Gaga last performed in Sweden in the summer of 2009 in Östersund and at the Tivoli Gröna Lund amusement park in Stockholm, where she played to a crowd of 22,000.

Other Nordic dates on the European tour extension include two shows in Oslo and Helsinki in October ahead of her Malmö concert before the tour ends in Lisbon, Portugal in December.

Other big stars coming to Sweden this summer include AC/DC, Whitney Houston and Rod Stewart next month and Muse in July in Stockholm and P!nk in Gothenburg in July.
