Robbers drag 86-year-old woman behind walking aid

An 86-year-old woman was dragged several metres behind her wheeled walker on Friday during an assault and robbery in central Gothenburg.
The victim is being treated at Mölndal hospital for serious injuries after sustaining a leg fracture, swelling and grazes in the attack.
Her assailants, believed to be two men and a woman, attempted to make off with the woman's handbag.
"It was ruthless," police spokesperson Ulla Brehm said of the incident.
The thieves succeeded in taking the keys to the woman's home but family members and a janitor worked quickly to change the locks. It is unclear whether anything else was stolen.
Police have spoken to witnesses and are searching for the perpetrators.
