16-year-old arrested for attempted murder

A 19-year-old male sustained serious injuries during a knife fight on Saturday night in the neighborhood of Varberga in Örebro in central Sweden. Another 16-year-old boy was later arrested for the assault.
“A young man was arrested on suspicions of attempted murder,” Torbjörn Roos, commander on duty at the Örebro police, told TT news agency.
Three knives were confiscated during the incident and the 19-year-old was reportedly cut in the throat. The University Hospital (Universitetssjukhuset) in Örebro confirmed that the man is seriously injured and remains in intensive care.
The fight occurred around 10 pm on Saturday night. Police are revealing very little about the incident and are looking for several perpetrators.
“There are several we haven't tracked down yet,” Roos said.
