The airline will run a six-day service on the Arlanda-Gatwick route from April 29th, with no flights on Saturdays.

"Today, there is no low cost alternative to London from Arlanda. London is one of the most popular destinations for Swedes on leisure travel, and there is also significant business volume on the route," said spokesman Daniel Skjeldam in a statement.

Beginning on May 6th, Norwegian's flights to Edinburgh will depart from Arlanda three times a week, on Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday.

The Munich service will offer three departures a week from Arlanda, on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. The service to the Bavarian capital starts on May 7th.
