Warmer, damper weather to replace chill of last few days
The chilly weather of the last few days should disappear on Sunday, to be replaced by a few damper but milder days.
The German Weather Service said that heavy cloud cover should warm much of the country up on Sunday, with temperatures reaching up to 11 degrees in western regions. Some rain should also be expected, particularly on Sunday night in eastern and southern areas.
Monday will see some loosening of the cloud cover in the eastern Alpine region and north Germany, where it will remain dry. Most other areas will remain overcast with some rain to be expected. Temperatures should reach between nine and 13 degrees.
Tuesday will be much the same with slightly lower temperatures, between seven and 11 degrees, apart from in the Alpine areas where it will be around four degrees.
