For €66, customers get two one-way tickets to a destination anywhere in Germany or Austria.

Some 750,000 ticket packets will be available until December 13 – but they can’t be used until after the holidays. Tickets will be valid between January 4 and March 31, 2010 every day of the week but Fridays.

Customers can purchase up to five sets of tickets, and also order online with an additional shipping cost of €3.95.

Children or grandchildren up to the age of 14 will be allowed to travel with a ticket holder for free.

This is the fourth time the two companies have teamed up to offer discounted tickets. Past offers were popular and sold out quickly.

Tickets are not valid on ICE-Sprinter trains, night trains, auto trains, or EuroNight trains on the Austrian national railway.
