According to the latest opinion survey by the Skop polling firm, the four ruling centre-right Alliance parties have a razor thin 0.4 percent lead over the three opposition centre-left parties, 46.8 percent versus 46.4 percent.

The Sweden Democrats have support from 4.4 percent of voters, an increase of 0.8 percent since the last Skop poll.

The Left Party now has the least support of all parties in the Riksdag, with 4.3 percent – a one percent reduction since the previous measurement.

Support for the Social Democrats has increased for the third month in a row and now stands at 33.5 percent, giving the party a roughly 5 percentage point lead over the Moderates, which registered the support of 28.9 percent.

The Green Party is the third largest party in the poll with 8.6 percent, while the Liberal Party (Folkpartiet) garnered support from 7.7 percent of voters. Next in line is the Centre Party with 5.5 percent, followed by the Christian Democrats, with 4.7 percent.

The poll was carried out between October 11th and November 3rd and involved 1,000 respondents between the ages of 18- and 84-years-old who were asked which national political party they liked the most.
