Man missing for 13 years found dead in Munich cellar

A German woman clearing out the cellar of her new house in southern Germany discovered in a hidden room the mummified body of a man declared missing 13 years ago, police said on Wednesday.
"The police at the scene established that the person had hanged himself," a statement said, adding there was no evidence of foul play.
The man, who was 67 years old at the time, was registered as missing in 1996 by his now 80-year-old wife.
He was found hanging in what used to be the shower room of a disused bakery, police said.
