National police join hunt for missing woman
Officers from the National Murder Commission (Mordkommissionen) have joined the search for the 32-year-old woman who went missing from her home in Falun in the beginning of August.
Police officers in the commission are specialized in solving murder cases.
Officers from the commission will join forces with local police on Wednesday and contribute to the investigation into the mysterious disappearance, according to a Dala police press release.
The woman left her home in Falun on August 1st to go out on the town and has been missing since then.
Police have classified the case as abduction, but have not found a trace of the woman.
Several witnesses believe that they saw the woman during the evening of her disappearance.
A woman resembling the missing woman could have been seen talking to one or more people in a dark car in central Falun.
Another witness statement places her at a downtown petrol station.
A further witness claims to have seen the 32-year-old walking with a 50-year-old man in Falun early the next day.
