Design by Marja, Humlegårdsgatan 5
Design by Marja sells stylish, high-quality clothing and accessories in classic designs to older women. This shop has been in Stockholm for a total of 26 years, but recently it relocated from Södermalm to Östermalmstorg. There is only one Design by Marja in Sweden, but this brand is a household name in Finland, with over 70 stores throughout the country.
All items are carefully hand made in Finland and then distributed to the shop in Stockholm. If customers like a certain fabric they see in the store, they can order for a dress to be custom-made for them with that fabric, something that very few stores offer.
The most popular items in the shop are by far the silk dresses, some which are quite dressy while others are appropriate for everyday wear. Some clothing items such as jackets and coats are a little pricey, while most of the dresses are fairly affordable.
Opening hrs

Sat: 11-15
Sun: closed
Price range:
200-8,000 kr
Editor's Pick: Green silk dress, 4500 kr
