Body discovered during boating competition

A spectator discovered a dead body during the Powerboat Scandinavian Gran Prix competition in Gothenburg in western Sweden on Saturday afternoon.
According to police, it is unknown how long the body, which was found near the island of Saltholmen, has been there, reported Göteborgs-Posten newspaper.
A father was on the island with his son to watch the competition when they stumbled across the macabre find. The body was in bad condition and has not yet been identified, according to police.
The body has been taken to the coroner for an autopsy.
