Cut my legs off and call me shorty!

Cut my legs off and call me shorty! is an exhibition that explores elements of humour and surprise. The main exhibition features work from five Sweden-based artists expressing ideas and ways to force us to look, and look again.

Tensta Konsthall cites US writer E.B.White in describing the essence of the exhibition: "Analyzing humour is like dissecting a frog. Few people are interested and the frog dies of it".

Price: 20 kronor

Time: Until September 19th 2009, Wednesday - Saturday 12pm - 5pm

Tickets: Museum entry

Location: Tensta Konsthall, Taxingegränd, SPÅNGA

Leo Leoson & Armand Mirpour

Influenced by Bob Dylan and Radiohead, Swedish-Indonesian Leo Leoson reminds you of Jeff Buckley or a mellow Jason Mraz. 19-year-old Leo preaches a message of love and harmony in his soulful, often melancholic, lyrics.

The second part of the evening's double bill is Armand Mirpour and what he describes as his musical collective with a line up under constant change.

Price: Free of charge

Time: Wednesday July 22nd, 9pm

Location: Södra Bar, Södra Teatern, Mosebacke torg 1-3
