Computers stolen from Social Democrats' HQ
Burglars made off with some 20 computers during a raid on the Social Democratic party's headquarters in central Stockholm on Wednesday night.
The thieves approached the party's offices on Sveavägen via a rear courtyard, climbed up using the building's ventilation shafts, and made their way in through a window.
Party treasurer Tommy Olström said the thieves had not stolen anything other than laptop computers.
"A police investigation is underway. As far as we can tell there is no link to the [European Parliament] election campaign," Olström told newspaper Dagens Arbete.
