Man dies in Malmö hotel fall

A man died on Thursday evening after falling out of a fourth floor window at a central Malmö hotel.
"The man is known to us. We have opened a criminal investigation but we do not know if it is a question of suicide, an accident or murder," Calle Persson at Skåne police said to news agency TT.
The man, who is in his thirties, was found dead on the ground near Stortorget in central Malmö at around 5pm on Thursday.
Police technicians have investigated the property in question as well as the immediate vicinity. They have also interviewed several witnesses.
The dead man was transferred to Malmö University Hospital (Mas) for identification and for a preliminary examination to determine cause of death.
"If he has additional injuries aside from those sustained in the fall, this is of course of interest to us," Calle Persson said.
