German supermarket chain Edeka recalled one of their packaged meats in Hamburg due to a salmonella scare late on Monday.

Ground pork in 300-gramme packages from the Gut&Günstig line has been taken off of store shelves for “preventative consumer protection,” the company said in a statement.

Packages marked with batch numbers 800.061 and 800.062 are included in the recall, and consumers can find the numbers next to the packaging expiration dates.

“Testing found salmonella contamination that could be damaging to the health,” the company said in a statement.

Customers can exchange the contaminated wares, Edeka said.
