Two convicted over Hitler salute

Two men have been convicted of agitation against an ethnic group after performing Hitler salutes in front of a crowd in Arvika in western Sweden last summer.

The men, both aged around 30, were found guilty on Friday by Värmland district court of repeatedly raising their arms in a Nazi salute in the main town square.

One of the men was given a probationary sentence and 80 hours of community service, while the second man received a suspended sentence.
