On the 200th anniversary of the great scientist's birth, an extraordinary exhibition opens at Berlin's Natural History Museum. Hop aboard the HMS Beagle and journey back to a time when Charles Darwin made some of his most startling observations - discoveries that would lead to his revolutionary magnum opus On the Origin of Species.

The conceptual artist who goes by the name Item Idem, has done projects for the concept store Colette in Paris, and the Bernhard Willhelm boutique in Tokyo, so you can expect his recent collaboration with 032c magazine to be unusually spectacular. The Ever Ever Altar Bar takes the form of a vodka and dim sum bar, housed in the magazine's "museum store."

Stumbling Blocks: Gunter Demnig and His Project
You know those little brass squares you see in the sidewalks? They're there because of one man, a guy by the name of Gunter Demnig. Since 1990 Berlin-born, Cologne-based artist has been installing these memorials to Jews who were deported by the Nazis, in front of the houses where they once lived. An exhibition at Frankfurt's City Library details the project.
