Stenvall disappeared on Friday, September 12th and her abandoned car was found the following day at a rest area outside of Gällivare in northern Sweden.

Police arrested 50-year-old Toni Alldén on suspicions of having killed Stenvall. After first denying involvement, Alldén later admitted he was involved with the woman’s death, but claimed it was an accident.

Stenvall’s body was found in a wooded area south of Gällivare and showed signs of physical violence, according to prosecutors.
