Ibrahimovic named in team of the year
Swedish football star Zlatan Ibrahimovic has been named in the team of the year by French sports daily L'Equipe.
Ibrahimovic's inclusion confirms the Inter Milan forward as one of the world's leading football players.
He is paired in attack with Liverpool and Spain star Fernando Torres and lines up alongside the likes of Steven Gerrard, Christiano Ronaldo, and Barcelona trio Lionel Messi, Xavi and Daniel Alves.
The team is completed by Manchester United trio Nemanja Vidic, Rio Ferdinand and Patrice Evra, with Real Madrid's Iker Casillas in goal.
Ibrahimovic plays for Inter Milan in Italy's Serie A and has previously played for Juventus, Ajax and Malmö FF. In November 2008 he became the first player to claim the Golden Ball - awarded by the Swedish Football Association to the best male Swedish footballer each year - for the third time.
