Café Rasoir

Address: Café le fil du rasoir, Norra Vallgatan 62

9pm – 1am

Free entry

Age: 20 and over

This French-sounding gem is located right down at the bottom of the Hotel Savoy. The club has attracted work weary Malmö residents for atmospheric tête à têtes over a glass of red wine. Given that it's a steakhouse, there are oysters, snails and entrecôte on offer. But you can just as easily go there to enjoy a classic cocktail in the award-winning bar section. By night this is a meting place for the city's representative's of bohemian chic, discussing important matters in the glow of candlelight.

Tonight

Guest DJs from soul club Funktion. Cocktails of the week: Tequila Sunrise and Cape Cod.

Étage

Address: Étage, Stortorget 6

11pm – 5am

80 kronor

Age: 20 and over

Website

It’s said that Tom Jones once used to party at Étage. Whether he still does is uncertain but the kinds of people you are guaranteed to bump into are the dressed up youngsters who tumble in from the places around Lilla Torg. You’ve come to right place if you have nothing against radio fodder and distinctly unsubtle chat-up lines.

KB/Nightclub

Address: Kulturbolaget, Bergsgatan 18

11.30pm – 4am

80 kronor (20 kronor before 12.30am)

Age: 20 and over

Website

When the concert’s over and you’re stuck in some bar, your friends can’t decide where to go next and you want to go clubbing but can’t decide between house and radio hits, then it’s a dead cert you’ll end up here. KB’s Nightclub is a bit of everything without being too much of anything, a safe bet in a nightclub world where one fad fast replaces the next. You know what you’ll be getting at KB: a musical mixed bag with a vague pop/rock direction and friendly people who, like you, don’t really know how they got here.
