And he was there when a suited African youth snatched the sword from King Baudouin of Congo, where he took the photo that made him famous. See a half century of Lebeck's work this weekend at Martin-Gropius-Bau.

Work Lamps

Work lamps don't get enough time in the limelight. They're always illuminating something or other, shining their bulbs on keyboards, papers, and staplers, but no one ever shines a light on them. Time to give the work lamp its due. A series of elegant lamps take centre stage at 032c's Museum Store through Saturday in an exhibition curated by German industrial designer Konstantin Grcic.
