The opening of Temporäre Kunsthalle Berlin
You may have noticed a big blue and white box standing on the banks of the River Spree in the heart of Berlin. Not only is this new building devoted to art, it is art. That white shape on a bright blue background depicts a pixelated cloud against a clear bue sky, and it was created by Austrian artist Gerwald Rockenschaub. The contemporary art space will be officially opened by Mayor Klaus Wowereit on Wednesday. Go see the inaugural exhibition of Berlin-based, South African video artist Candice Breitz' work.
