Lufthansa cuts ticket fuel surcharges
Germany’s leading airline Lufthansa has decided to lower its fuel surcharge on flights amid sinking oil prices.
Starting October 20, the extra fee on tickets for short flights within Europe will drop €3 to €24 and will decrease for long-distance flights by €5 to €92.
“Lufthansa continuously observes the price of oil and will adjust the fuel surcharge according to the future developments fuel prices,” the airline said in a statement.
