Thomas Cook drops out of talks with German Wings and TUIFly
British travel group Thomas Cook dropped out of talks on Monday morning to combine its airline Condor with German discount airlines German Wings and TUIFly.
“Condor is a strong and profitable business with considerable potential as an independent vendor,” Thomas Cook said in a statement announcing the end of its negotiations.
The option of a fusion between the three airlines turned out to be “not attractive,” the statement said.
