Cheesy not Cheesy

Friday is the last chance to experience the very popular club Cheesy not Cheesy at Uppåt Framåt. The club is heading for a new venue and we're promised one last evening at Uppåt Framåt filled with cheesy music, more cheesy cheese, a glowing DJ booth and a stacked wine bar. Count us in.

Gumbo

Gumbo is an acclaimed local blues band influenced by the rhythm, warmth and soul of New Orleans. With their own genuine sound they manage to mix r´n´b, rock´n´roll, jazz, boogie and funk in a new way. On Friday they will be performing live at Nefertiti together with other local favourite, Down down down, who plays a mix of blues, country, and mountain ballads.

Talawa Reggae Club

Talawa productions are putting together a reggae party deluxe at Röda sten on Saturday! Celebrate what could be the last days of summer with an all night party both indoors and out. Live: Roots Vibe Band, Awa Soundsystem, Adhi Prophet (Jam/UK)), aNNaR plus many more enthusiasts behind the turntables and microphone.

Räfvarnas Afton

Another reggae influenced extravaganza will be taking place at the harbour venue Kajskul 8 this weekend. Together with Swing kids records and PK music, Gothenburg based reggae and folk band Räfven will be throwing a great party filled with live music and Dj's. Among others taking to the stage will be Circus Miramar and Marcus Berg from much celebrated band Kultiration.

Club Sunkpop

This is the club for everyone who doesn't want to hide their pure love for tacky indie and trashy pop music. Club Sunkpop(trashy pop) always delivers sweaty indie beats in a charming and relaxed way. The club is held at the always welcoming bar Kontiki where you should make sure to doze off at the outdoor terrace with a tropical drink in your hand. Playing live are: Sicken Skuta and The Medalist.
