Munich teens poisoned by stolen nature walk plants
Four Munich boys have been hospitalized after stealing and eating poisonous plants from an educational nature walk, police reported on Friday.
A 15-year-old stole bits of Jimson weed, nightshade and angel's trumpet from the “Nature Path of Poisonous Plants” and consumed them with three other friends.
The boys were severely poisoned and had to be hospitalized, police in the German state of Bavaria said, adding that they do not recommend experimentation with hallucinogenic plants because the effects usually exceed that of conventional recreational drugs.
