On Friday, Pustervik's much loved reggae club will team up with the über-cool rock club Slacker. The result? A dazzling punky reggae party. It will be an all-nighter, with the sounds of artists like Bob Marley, the Clash and the Maytals filling the speakers and the dance floor. DJs for the night are: Jonk, Mulle and MrGillis.
Local DJ star Dimitrios K will take over Nefertiti on Friday night and turn it into a full-scale audiovisual happening. Get ready for a night of pure electronic music, techno and dub. The party is both indoors and outdoors, but the basement dance floor is where the action will be.
For all lovers of hardcore and harder/darker music, head out to the cultural venue Underjorden on Saturday! Live: Mismo, Antizimex, Kevin Vera, Matt Restless (DK), Piecemaker, Bluecore, Shadowcore, dab, Icepick and Fulis. As an extra bonus you can, in true rocker style, bring your own beer and keep it in their fridge!
Soulastatic Summer All-nighter
We just love Soulastatic. Few other clubs in town make you dance and smile more than this genuine soul club. On Saturday, it is not only time for their annual summer all-nighter, but the club is also celebrating its' ten year anniversary! The party has moved from Pustervik to the more intimate settings of Jazzhuset. Get ready to spin and twirl those hips of yours as some of the finest DJs on the Northern & modern soul scenes get behind the turntables. DJs for the night are: Andy Whitmore (UK), Steve Cato (UK), Karl Marthon, Max Hansson, Soulof, Sebban and Christian Punky.
Throughout the ongoing Gothenburg cultural festival some great bands will perform live at different venues around town. On Sunday, the local reggae and folk band Kultiration will take to the stage at Kungstorget. Kultiration is a very critically acclaimed roots, reggae and folk band with a cool, unique sound. Their live performances are always great so don't miss the chance to see some fine musicians doing their thing on Sunday.
