An apartment currently up for sale in Stockholm comes fully equipped with the current tenant, who is refusing to budge.

The apartment's former owner died a few years ago and now her daughter, who inherited the apartment, wants to sell it. Her mother's live-in partner had remained in the apartment until now under a so-called joint ownership, which is invalid now.
The man has refused to move from the 35 square metre apartment, despite a court order obliging him to leave. So now the top floor studio flat is up for sale in an auction.
It comes with all amenities included, so to speak, as lawyer Mats Ljungquist told The Local.
"Whoever buys the flat will have to organize the current tenant's eviction, as clearly outlined in the advertisement we ran in the weekend's papers."
Ljungquist told The Local that although he has been involved in selling property before, he has never come across something like this. He has not even been able to see the apartment, as the tenant will not let anyone in.
Anyone interested in bidding for the apartment should attend the open auction on 26th August at the offices of lawyers Björn Rosengren in central Stockholm.
The apartment also includes a balcony view over one of Stockholm's trendiest districts.
