Man dies in boat accident
A man died in a boating accident near the island of Ingarö, east of Stockholm on Monday morning. He was with one other person in a small boat when it capsized.
Christer Angeria of the Nacka police, told TT that after falling in the water the man was lifted out and given first aid resuscitation, but it was impossible to save him. No-one else was injured.
Police were alerted to the incident at 11.47 on Monday morning. The boat had tried to pass through a narrow waterway and the weather was calm at the time of accident.
Angeria said they were still to figure out the accident's actual cause, but they suspect that the man fell ill during the boat trip.
