Reggae artists arrested for drug use
Several artists appearing at the ongoing Uppsala Reggae Festival have been detained by police for testing on suspicion of drug offences.
Police took blood and urine tests on some 50 people on Friday evening they suspected of the use or the possession of narcotics.
"Among the suspects are a number of artists and musicians taking part in the festival. I can not specify which ones," said police spokesperson Christer Nordström.
Uppsala police also found and seized smaller amounts of illicit drugs backstage at the festival venue, Nordström.
