Woman dies in Uppsala plane crash

One person has died after a small aircraft crashed over an airfield near Uppsala in eastern Sweden at lunch time on Wednesday.
The pilot of the aircraft -- a glider -- was the only person on board, Sveriges Radio reports.
The glider crash landed beside Sundbro airfield, according to police spokesman Bo Axelsson.
Emergency services were contacted at 12.15pm.
Technicians are making their way to the scene of the accident and the National Board of Accident Investigation (Haverikommissionen) has been informed.
