Ramona Ahmedin, who was 23, died from a stab wound to her chest at her London apartment between June 4th and 6th, pathologist Dr. Nat Carey told St. Pancras Coroner's Court, according to the Cambridge Evening News.

Ahmedin's body was found burning in a suitcase by the side of a road in Hinxton, in Cambridgeshire county, on June 18th.

A man has been charged with murdering the Swede. Jamal Bakhit, 24 and from Uganda, is believed by police to have been Ahmedin's boyfriend. He has been remanded in custody and will appear in court in London in September.

Ahmedin's body is now set to be returned to her family in Sweden. A full inquest into her death will be held when the police have completed their investigation.
