Three killed on Saxony autobahn
Three people were killed and ten injured early on Monday morning when a minibus lost control on the A72 motorway in the German state of Saxony, police reported.
The Polish bus with a trailer spun out of control on a left-hand curve between the Treuen and Reichenbach junctions, flipping several times and came to rest on its upside down.
Two of the vehicle's passengers died on the scene of the accident. A third passenger died in the hospital shortly thereafter.
The A72 towards Chemnitz was closed until the accident could be cleared.
