The cost of diesel fuel went up on Monday by 10 öre to 14.79 kronor per liter, which is also a record.

At the same time, the cost of American crude oil went down by 86 cents to $134 per barrel. This follows Saudi Arabia's promise to boost production levels in order to bring down record prices.
