Couple dies in farm plane crash near Konstanz
A German man and his wife were killed Sunday afternoon when they crashed their small plane near Konstanz in the German state of Baden-Württemberg.
The plane was completely destroyed when it crashed through the roof of a barn and was suspended in the roof beams, police said.
The farm residents were not home when the accident occurred.
Police are investigating the cause of the accident, which occurred about an hour after the couple, both 58-years-old, began their flight from a nearby airfield.
The man was an experienced pilot.
