Two die in violent bus crash on Sweden's west coast
Two people have died in a collision between a bus and a car on the island of Tjörn on Sweden's west coast.
The violent crash, which happened at lunchtime on Tuesday, occurred when the car rammed head on into the bus on highway 169, killing two people in the car.
A driver-in-training and an instructor were on the bus at the time of the accident.
They both survived the crash without serious injuries but were taken to hospital for observation.
The speed limit is 90 kilometres per hour on the stretch of road where the accident took place.
According to preliminary reports, the car had crossed over onto the wrong side of the road.
