31-year-old charged with child porn offences

A 31-year-old man in Norrbotten in the north of Sweden has been charged with serious child porn offences. The man was found with thousands of pictures and films on his computer.
The man was found to have 11,000 pictures and 30 film clips on his computer and on CD-ROM discs when police raided his home in 2006, local media reports.
Around 70 of the pictures and three film clips feature children being subjected to particularly brutal treatment.
Police also suspect the man of having distributed 4,000 pictures to other people.
