Locker room brawl costs boy his testicle

A 14-year-old boy was forced to have his testicle surgically removed after being kicked by another student at Kungsberg school in the south-central Swedish town of Linköping.
The altercation took place on Friday, March 14th in the school’s locker room, according to the Östgöta Correspondenten newspaper.
The boy was too embarrassed to tell his mother what happened, but by Saturday the pain had become unbearable and he was taken to the emergency room.
“I called the emergency room and asked them to let me come in with the boy immediately,” the boy’s mother told the newspaper.
The school plans to investigate the matter and the 14-year-old’s mother has reported the incident to police. As the suspect is a minor, the case will be transferred to social services.
