Brawl breaks out at Karolinska maternity ward

Police were called to break up a fight in the maternity ward at Stockholm’s famed Karolinska Hospital Monday night.
“Hospital staff made the call. There were about 20 people fighting with one another in the maternity ward waiting room,” said police spokesperson Björn Engström to the Svenska Dagbladet newspaper.
Several people were ejected from the premises and the situation eventually calmed down.
Police left the scene without making any arrests.
The exact cause of the fracas remains unclear.
