Return of snow causes traffic delays

Winter made a belated return to western Sweden on Monday morning with snow causing major traffic problems.
There have been several reports of accidents, none of which have been serious, according to police.
“It’s been pretty awful everywhere south of northern Dalsland. There’s lots of slush and vehicles are sliding off the roads,” said Stefan Frisk from the Swedish Road Administration.
A number of heavy vehicle have been standing still on the E20 motorway between Tolleredsmotet and Kärrbogärde on the way to Alingsås.
