Swedes happy to change cities for work

Seven out of ten Swedes are ready to move to another city for a job and more than half are willing moving out of the country.

The findings come from a labour market survey by human resources company Kelly Services, which surveyed 115,000 people in 33 countries.

In Sweden, 1,000 people were asked about their willingness to move for the sake of a job and other factors that affect the decision to relocate.

Women demonstrated a much greater concern than men about how the family and children would be affected by a move. Men worried more about housing and access to other services.

The group least inclined to move, according to the survey, are inhabitants from Darlana, Värmland and Gotland.

Residents from Stockholm, Uppsala, and Skåne were the most willing to move for work.
