Tattoo artist fined for signing own name on woman’s body

A tattoo artist from Halland in western Sweden has been convicted for writing his own name on the stomach of a 19-year-old female customer.
The woman thought he had been joking until she realized what had happened.
Now the artist has been fined the equivalent of 80 days' pay for causing bodily harm. He was also ordered to pay the woman 10,000 kronor ($1630) in damages, according to local media.
The young woman had planned to honour a deceased relative with a tattoo on her stomach in the form of a heart and accompanying text.
Pleased with the results from her first visit to the tattoo artist, the woman returned several months later to fill in the tattoo.
During the second visit, the artist asked if he could write his name on the woman. According to the man, he received the woman’s permission. But the woman claims she answered no.
