Boy dies in Alpine accident
A 14-year-old Czech boy has died after a collision with a Swedish man on a ski slope in Austria's Badgastein resort.
The Swede, a man in his forties, was seriously injured in Monday´s crash.
Paramedics were unable to save the boy's life, despite the fact that he was wearing a helmet at the time of the collision.
"We tried to resuscitate him but unfortunately it was all in vain. He had serious head injuries and died in transit," one ambulance crew member told Austrian newspaper Krone.
