Man feared dead in house fire

An elderly man is feared dead after fire destroyed a house near Borås in western Sweden on Sunday.
The fire began early on Sunday morning and emergency services were called to the house in Häglared, east of Borås at 6am. Emergency services fear that the man was inside the house, according to Dagens Nyheter.
"I know only that the house has been destroyed by the fire and that people are thought to be inside," said Lennart Stenquist at Borås police.
According to fire services the man is known to have lived alone and that no one has seen him outside of the house. Fire services have been unable to enter the house and look for the man.
