Met agency forecasts weekend storms
Storms are expected to strike in many parts of Sweden this weekend, with the south of the country likely to be hardest hit.
On a day in which rough winds and heavy rain caused major problems for motorists in the western Sweden, meteorological agency SMHI warned that southern Sweden may see the worst of the storm on Saturday.
With winds building up in the Baltic Sea, SMHI expects the storm to draw in over Skåne by early Saturday afternoon.
Western Sweden can also expect more heavy rainfall, with a risk of flooding in parts.
But SMHI expects the extreme conditions to pass quickly and has forecast light rain on Sunday in the south and west.
