Man jailed for making 12-year-old pregnant

A 12-year-old girl who was admitted to hospital with abdominal pain was told by doctors that she was pregnant. The pregnancy was then aborted.
The 27-year-old man who made her pregnant has now been convicted of child rape by Södertörn District Court, near Stockholm. The court sentenced him to three years imprisonment.
"I am satisfied with the ruling, even though I argued that he should be convicted of aggravated rape and a sentence of four years," said prosecutor Börje Tulldahl to Metro.
The convicted man was also ordered to pay 120,000 kronor in compensation to the girl.
